Perfect Derma Peel®

Transform Your Skin from the Inside Out

The Perfect Derma Peel® is a medical-grade chemical peel designed to improve pigmentation, sun damage, acne, acne scarring, fine lines, enlarged pores, and uneven skin tone and texture.

Formulated with a blend of TCA, phenol, retinoic acid, salicylic acid, vitamin C, glutathione, and kojic acid, this treatment provides more intensive resurfacing than a superficial peel, helping reveal smoother, brighter, more even-looking skin.

What to Expect

Your treatment begins with cleansing and preparation of the skin before The Perfect Derma Peel solution is carefully applied. Mild tingling, warmth, or temporary sensitivity may occur during application.

The peel remains on the skin after you leave the clinic and should not be washed off for at least 6 hours. Your take-home post-care kit provides everything needed to support the peeling and recovery process.

Perfect Derma Peel before and after
Downtime

Unlike our minimal-downtime peels, visible peeling is expected with The Perfect Derma Peel.

Peeling typically begins around Day 2–3 and may continue for approximately 5–7 days. During this time, the skin may feel tight, dry, sensitive, or flaky as shedding occurs.

Once the peeling process is complete, skin typically appears smoother, brighter, and more refreshed. Do not pick, pull, or manually exfoliate peeling skin.

Post-Care

You’ll receive a complete Perfect Derma Peel post-care kit with instructions to guide you through the peeling process.

Do not wash the treated area or apply makeup or SPF for at least 6 hours following application. Use your provided post-peel products exactly as directed and avoid picking, exfoliating, or prematurely removing peeling skin.

Once instructed, use gentle skincare and broad-spectrum SPF daily. Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and follow all individualized aftercare instructions provided by your nurse.

Chemical Peels in Sudbury: BioRePeel®, Pro Clinical Peel & The Perfect Derma Peel® — Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to common questions about chemical peels at The Pink Syringe in Sudbury. We offer BioRePeel®, Pro Clinical Peel with Glutathione, and The Perfect Derma Peel®, allowing treatment to be tailored to your skin concerns, desired level of correction, and preferred downtime.

What is a chemical peel and how does it work?

A chemical peel is a professional skin treatment that uses carefully selected ingredients to exfoliate the skin and support cellular turnover. Depending on the type and depth of peel, treatment can help improve uneven tone, pigmentation, acne and congestion, rough texture, enlarged pores, fine lines, and overall skin quality. At The Pink Syringe, chemical peels range from gentle, minimal-downtime resurfacing to more intensive corrective treatments with visible peeling.

What is the difference between BioRePeel, Pro Clinical Peel and The Perfect Derma Peel?

The three treatments offer different levels and approaches to skin resurfacing. Pro Clinical Peel is a gentle superficial peel focused on brightening, smoothing, and refreshing the skin with minimal downtime. BioRePeel is a biphasic 35% TCA peel focused on cellular turnover, skin quality, texture, congestion, and rejuvenation with minimal visible peeling. The Perfect Derma Peel is a more intensive corrective peel designed for concerns such as pigmentation, sun damage, acne, acne scarring, uneven tone and texture. Visible peeling and several days of downtime are expected. The Perfect Derma Peel is a medium-depth peel that provides more intensive correction for concerns such as pigmentation, acne scarring, melasma, and signs of aging. It typically involves several days of visible peeling as the skin renews itself.

Which chemical peel is right for my skin?

The best peel depends on your skin type, concerns, treatment goals, previous treatments, and how much downtime you're comfortable with. If you're looking for a gentle refresh or maintenance treatment, Pro Clinical Peel may be recommended. For skin rejuvenation, texture, congestion and overall skin quality with minimal downtime, BioRePeel may be appropriate. For more intensive correction of pigmentation, sun damage, acne or uneven texture, The Perfect Derma Peel may be recommended. Your skin will be assessed before treatment so the most appropriate option can be selected.

What skin concerns can chemical peels treat?

Depending on the peel selected, chemical peels may help improve: Acne & congestion • Acne scarring • Pigmentation • Sun damage • Melasma • Dullness • Uneven skin tone • Rough texture • Enlarged pores • Fine lines • Overall skin quality Not every peel is appropriate for every concern or skin type, which is why treatment selection is individualized.

Will I peel after my treatment?

It depends on the peel! Pro Clinical Peel: little to no visible peeling is generally expected, although mild dryness or flaking can occur. BioRePeel: designed to provide skin renewal with minimal visible peeling or downtime. Mild dryness or light flaking can occur. The Perfect Derma Peel: yes — visible peeling is expected. Peeling generally begins approximately 2–3 days after treatment and can continue for several days.

Can I get a chemical peel before an event?

Yes, but timing matters. Minimal-downtime treatments such as Pro Clinical Peel or BioRePeel may be better suited to routine skin maintenance or preparation before an event. The Perfect Derma Peel requires planned downtime because visible peeling is expected. Your treatment should be scheduled with enough time for your skin to fully recover before an important event.

How often should I get a chemical peel?

Treatment frequency depends on the peel, your skin, and your overall treatment plan. Some superficial peels can be incorporated more regularly, while deeper or more corrective treatments require longer intervals. Your recommended schedule will be individualized based on your skin goals and response to treatment.
