Neuromodulator Injections

Neuromodulator Injections

Neuromodulator injections, commonly known by brand names such as Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®, use a purified protein to temporarily relax targeted facial muscles. This safe and effective cosmetic treatment softens dynamic wrinkles by reducing muscle movement, helping to smooth fine lines, creases, and expression lines for a refreshed, more youthful appearance.

Treatment results typically last 3–4 months, and pricing varies depending on the area treated and the number of units required.

What To Expect

Your visit begins with a personalized consultation with Nurse Vanessa, where your facial structure, aesthetic goals, and muscle movement will be assessed. Based on your unique needs, we’ll develop a tailored treatment plan using one of the leading neuromodulator brands: Botox®, Dysport®, or Xeomin® - depending on your preference and suitability.

Once the plan is finalized, a Nurse Practitioner will perform a telemedicine assessment to ensure the highest standard of safety and clinical oversight.

During the treatment, a fine needle is used to deliver precise doses of the chosen neuromodulator into specific facial muscles. Most clients describe the sensation as a mild pinch.

Post-Treatment Care

After your appointment, you’ll receive detailed, easy-to-follow post-care instructions designed to support your healing and help you achieve the most beautiful, long-lasting results. A follow-up visit at the two-week mark is recommended to assess your progress, fine-tune your treatment if needed, and ensure your results align perfectly with your goals.

At The Pink Syringe, Nurse Vanessa’s mission is to provide a personalized, confidence-building experience rooted in safety, education, and natural enhancement. Your follow-up visit isn’t just a check-in - it’s part of her commitment to ongoing care, open communication, and making sure you leave feeling informed, empowered, and truly satisfied with your outcome.

Lip flip before and after

Lip Flip

What is a Lip Flip?

Enhance your smile with a subtle, non-surgical Lip Flip. This treatment uses a small amount of neuromodulator to relax the muscles around the mouth, allowing the upper lip to gently roll upward — creating the appearance of fuller, more defined lips without adding volume.

The Lip Flip is ideal for:

〇 Softening a gummy smile

〇 Subtly refining lip shape

〇 Adding elegance to your pout

What to expect:

This quick, in-office treatment takes only a few minutes to perform and involves minimal downtime. Results are soft and natural-looking, typically appearing within 3 to 7 days and lasting approximately 6 to 8 weeks. It’s an excellent choice for those seeking a more defined lip shape, correcting a gummy smile, or adding a subtle enhancement to their pout. Its simplicity and temporary nature make it especially popular among first-time clients.

Neurotoxin (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®) – Frequently Asked Questions

How does neurotoxin (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®) work?

Neurotoxin works by temporarily relaxing targeted facial muscles that cause expression lines such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet. By softening muscle activity, the overlying skin appears smoother while still allowing for natural facial movement. At The Pink Syringe in Sudbury, neurotoxin treatments are customized based on your facial anatomy, muscle strength, and aesthetic goals to ensure safe, natural-looking results.

Will neurotoxin (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®) make me look frozen?

No. When neurotoxin is injected using an anatomy-based, conservative approach, it should not make you look frozen. The goal is to soften overactive muscles while preserving natural facial movement and expression. At The Pink Syringe in Sudbury, treatments are customized to your muscle strength, facial structure, and aesthetic goals to create refreshed, natural-looking results, not an overdone appearance.

How long does neurotoxin (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®) last?

Neurotoxin results typically last 3–4 months. Longevity can vary depending on muscle strength, metabolism, lifestyle, and the number of units used. Clients with stronger facial muscles may notice results wearing off sooner, especially early in treatment. With consistent, properly dosed treatments, results often become more predictable over time.

How soon will I see results from neurotoxin  (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®)

Initial results from neurotoxin treatments typically begin to appear within 3–5 days, with full results visible around 10–14 days after treatment. Neurotoxin works gradually, allowing facial lines to soften naturally rather than changing your appearance abruptly. This timeline also allows for proper assessment of your final result during follow-up, if needed.

How many units of neurotoxin  (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®) will I need?

The number of units required varies from person to person and depends on your facial anatomy, muscle strength, treatment area, and aesthetic goals. Some muscles are naturally stronger and require more product to achieve balanced results. During your consultation at The Pink Syringe in Sudbury, dosing is determined through a detailed assessment, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Is neurotoxin (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®) safe?

Yes. Neurotoxin has been used safely in both medical and aesthetic settings for decades. When administered by a licensed medical professional with proper training and anatomical knowledge, it is considered a safe and effective treatment. At The Pink Syringe in Sudbury, all neurotoxin treatments are performed by a Registered Nurse using evidence-based techniques and regulated medical products.
